There are only two Lighthouse suites on each ship. The Lighthouse suites feature our most exclusive accommodation. The quality of the bed linen is superior to that in other cabins. The bed is wider and better. Superior-quality furniture.In the living room you have both a seating area and dining room furniture, as well as a large sofa in front of the TV. The bath has a shower and a bath. Your private balcony has a jacuzzi. You can lay back here and enjoy starry skies, the Northern Lights or the midnight sun.A welcome pack will be waiting for you when you board. Welcome to our main dining room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here, in the ship’s main restaurant. Choose your favorites from our extensive range of hot, cold, sweet and savory food.Havrand offers a number of set dishes in addition to food from the four different coastal regions through which we sail. This means that our menu changes during the voyage so that you can try something different for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, all served at your table.For breakfast, we have a selection of cheeses, jams, cold cuts, vegetables and fruits, baked goods and hot dishes. The menu varies depending on where we are on the coastal line. Order as many dishes as you like, and enjoy your own selection at your breakfast table in peace and quiet, while being served hot and cold drinks.For lunch and dinner, Havila Voyages offers a range of options. We recommend you to order at least three small dishes for a satisfying lunch. The cafe upholds the tradition of providing simple, but good and tasty food to seafarers. In the cafe we serve snacks, coffee and cake, lunch and dinners.The café welcomes you morning till evening, serving a variety of treats ranging from light bites, coffee, and cakes, to a simple yet satisfying lunch or dinner.Our onboard bakery tempts you with a mouth-watering selection of bread rolls, cinnamon rolls, and our special Havila roll, filled with chocolate and vanilla cream.We take pride in serving traditional Norwegian favorites, including the famed waffles and delectable shrimp sandwiches. On deck seven, we’ve set the stage for your fitness goals with two well-equipped rooms. One side features treadmills, bikes, and rowing machines to keep your cardio game strong. The other? A curated collection of strength equipment and free weights for those gains.

On deck eight, you'll find two lovely saunas – one for men and another for women.The men's sauna is on the starboard side, while the women's sauna is on the port side. Both are conveniently situated near the changing facilities and Jacuzzis.Did you know that using a sauna can provide several health benefits? For instance, it's suggested that sauna baths can decrease stress, enhance blood circulation, fortify the immune system, and promote better sleep quality.

Suite guests both in presidential suites and junior suites have room service with no addition cost for delivery. Other travelers can also order from the on board-menu and have the food delivered, but have to pay a an extra fee for delivery.

Room Service

Are there cabins for disabled guests on board?Havila Voyages is adapted for people with disabilities, and we have 18 cabins that are wheelchair accessible. Ten of these are Interior accessible cabins, 6 are Seaview accessible and two are Seaview deluxe accessible with balconies. These must be ordered directly via Havila's customer centre.Is there enough space for wheelchair users to easily get around the ship?The ships have wide corridors and large common areas, making it easy to manoeuvre a wheelchair no matter where you are on the ship.What kind of aid do you have for the hearing impaired?There are teleloops installed at the reception, in the shop, in the café, and at the butler’s right outside the main restaurant.A vibrating alarm can be obtained on request at the reception desk. You place it under your pillow, and it will wake you in the event of an emergency. Do you have information signs for blind and visually impaired guests?There is braille on the railings at the stairs, signs with cabin numbers, signs outside the HC toilet, and in common areas.How do wheelchair users board the ship?The ship has a gangway lift with a weight limit of 225 kg.Do you have wheelchairs onboard? There is one wheelchair on board. It is expected that wheelchair users bring their own equipment.Do you have crutches on board?No, unfortunately. People with reduced mobility are encouraged to bring the necessary equipment to ensure individual needs are met.

Disabled Cabins

Guide dogs and service dogs that are specially trained to perform tasks for blind or severely visually impaired people, or for people with physical disabilities. These dogs are welcome in common areas on board except from the restaurants. If the guest is traveling with a cabin, only pet-friendly cabins without floor carpet are allowed with a guide dog/service dog.

Service Animals

You are traveling in nature, the dress code is casual and you do not need to dress up for dinner.

Dress Code

As we sail along the coast and near harbors, we do not have a permanent doctor on board. However, our staff is extensively trained in first aid and can provide basic medical assistance. Moreover, we have a dedicated safety officer to oversee the well-being of passengers and crew.Located on deck four, we have a well-equipped hospital ward with two sick bays. In case of severe health issues, we have a direct connection to shore through digital assistance, ensuring prompt access to the necessary help. Additionally, three defibrillators are strategically placed on different decks for added safety.Where can I have my medicines that need to be stored cold?There are cooling drawers on all exterior cabins of all categories. If you stay in an interior cabin, do you have to contact the reception on board, they will help you with a solution.

The crew speaks Norwegian, English and/or German. Written information is also available in these languages.

Languages

There is a designated smoking area on deck 8 in addition to the fact that you can smoke outside on your own balcony if you have chosen such a cabin type.

Smoking Policy

We do our best to accommodate your dietary needs. To help us meet your expectations, please contact our customer center at least three weeks before departure. You may also inform our crew on board but note that last-minute requests may be harder to fulfill. We’ll always try to accommodate specific dietary needs, but within reasonable limits.We offer a wide array of vegetarian dishes with the same culinary excellence as our other menu items. While we also have some vegan options, we advise you to contact our customer service at least three weeks in advance for specific requirements so that we can better meet your expectations.

Dietary Requirements

Havila Voyages offers free Wi-Fi suited for basic everyday usage. Note that the bandwith on board is not designed for data heavy tasks such as streaming or downloading large files.

Wi-Fi

We only allow cars on board for the entire stretch from Bergen to Kirkenes or from Kirkenes to Bergen, not from individual ports. The car can be no longer than 5.2 meters, with a maximum width of 2.25 meters, and a maximum height of 2.1 meters. You must book a car in advance if you want to bring it on the ship. Electric, hybrid, and hydrogen cars are prohibited on board.

Havila Voyages offers two main packages of beverages on board: One with alcohol and one without.Non-alcoholic Beverage PackageEnjoy your voyage with a non-alcoholic beverage package of 30, 40, or 50 units. You can wash your clothes in the laundry facilities at deck 4 and 5. There are three washing machines that automatically dispense soap, three dryers, and ironing equipment.

It is forbidden to fly drones on board/from the ship. If you are going to use your drone on land, you must check Luftfartstilsynet.no/droner and register as an operator at flydrone.no. In addition, you must have knowledge of local drone regulations which you can find at Miljødirektoratet, and Prohibition zones at National Safety Administration. Regulations for drone flight are under the Norwegian Aviation Authority's responsibility.

One of Scandinavia's oldest cities, Trondheim was the first capital of Norway, from AD 997 to 1380. Founded in 997 by Viking king Olav Tryggvason, it was first named Nidaros (still the name of the cathedral), a composite word referring to the city's location at the mouth of the Nidelva River. Today, it's Central Norway's largest (and Norway's third largest) city, with a population of 150,000. The wide streets of the historic city center remain lined with brightly painted wood houses and striking warehouses. But it's no historic relic: it's also the home to NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and is Norway's technological capital.

Molde

Molde, the 'Town of Roses', is a city and municipality in Romsdal in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. The municipality is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. The city is located on the northern shore of the Romsdalsfjord. The city of Molde is the administrative centre of Møre og Romsdal County, administrative center of the municipality of Molde, commercial hub of the Romsdal region and seat of the Diocese of Møre. Molde proper consists of a 6.2-mile (10-kilometre) long and 0.62-1.24 mile (1-2-kilometre) wide strip of urban land running east-west along the north shore of the Moldefjord, an arm of the Romsdalsfjord, on the Romsdal Peninsula. The city is sheltered by Bolsøya and the Molde Archipelago, a chain of low-lying islands and islets, to the south and the wood-clad hills of Moldemarka to the north. The city centre is located just west of the River Moldeelva, which runs into the city from the north, originating in the Lake Moldevatnet and running through the Valley Moldedalen.

Ålesund

The coastal town of Ålesund is the commercial capital of the Møre og Romsdal district. But more important, it is noted for its characteristic Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) buildings, which some claim make Ålesund one of the most beautiful towns in Norway. This Art Nouveau style emerged when the town was completely rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1904 destroyed nearly 800 buildings and left 10,000 residents homeless. It is said that the fire started by a tipped oil lamp. Rebuilding was carried out with the help of many young, foreign architects who added their own flourishes to the architectural blend of German Jugendstil and Viking roots. Today, narrow streets are crammed with buildings topped with turrets, spires and gables that bear decorations of dragonheads and curlicues. As one of the few remaining Art Nouveau towns in the world, in 1998 Ålesund was awarded the coveted Houens National Memorial Prize for the preservation of its unique architecture.

Surrounded by mountains and sparkling fjords, the waterside city of Bergen has a spectacular setting. There has been a settlement here since medieval times and the colourful waterfront buildings of the Hanseatic wharf, known as Bryggen, are testament to its fascinating history of trade. As Norway’s best known medieval settlement, the Bryggen is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Our comprehensive selection of excursions allows you to discover the many sides of Bergen, such as the fish market and narrow cobbled streets, as well as stunning views of the city from the summit of Mt Fløyen. Alternatively, those who have visited the city previously may like to experience one of the tours that travel further afield. Just 300 yards from the main piers, you will find the Fortress Museum (Fesningsmuseum), which has an interesting collection of objects related to World War II.
